Creative Bama Connections (CBC) is based on Gimuy Yidinji country and brings together artists, cultural practitioners and Elders to create vibrant, culturally grounded healing spaces where knowledge, stories and skills are shared across generations. Through weaving, song creation, soundscape, scriptwriting, dance and more, CBC nurtures creative expression that is both deeply rooted in tradition and alive with contemporary practice.
We recognise that across this nation there are many stories still waiting to be shared. We acknowledge and honour the Elders who have paved the way, creating space for culture and creativity to flourish and for that inner fire to be ignited in others. We pay our deepest respects to Elders past and present, and honour the lands, waterways, and cosmic kin who hold the memory, history, and knowledge that continue to guide us.
